Injuries are prevalent in BJJ and an inherent risk of training. Research has shown that if you train consistently and for a prolonged period of time, you will likely deal with injuries. As a BJJ Brown Belt and Doctor of Physical Therapy, I have worked with many diagnoses, post-operative patients, sprains, strains, and various BJJ-related and grappling-related injuries. Training for years and dealing with numerous injuries myself, I have been able to develop a skill-set that is specific to orthopedic conditions, injury-prevention, and body maintenance to prevent injuries to keep you training and on the mats.

I will run a comprehensive injury-prevention seminar with emphasis on stretches, exercises, and techniques that have worked and been beneficial in preventing injuries.
