Some of his main achievements in BJJ include becoming the IBJJF World Champion at Brown Belt, the IBJJF Pan American Champion at Brown Belt, and also the ADCC North American Trials Champion (in 2006). Dr. Moriarty is currently completing his residency in PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehab). We discuss BJJ-specific injuries, injury prevention for BJJ, the growth and evolution of BJJ, his research and interest in studying BJJ-related injuries, and also his career and accomplishments in BJJ.

Dr. Kreiswirth has done numerous research studies and has written articles on BJJ-related injuries. On the podcast we discuss the prevalence and types of injuries in BJJ, injury prevention, rehab techniques, and the different rule sets that are used in various tournaments.
